It is said a picture is worth a thousand words,
but this one leaves me speechless and tears in my eyes.

With Christmas right around the corner, we have sat down and tried to decide what organization we were going to help this holiday season.  Due to our recent overwhelming work with our Active Duty American Soldiers, we have decided to do an "Adopt a Solider" this holiday season.    Red Agency wants to put care packages together and send them off to our troops to show our love and support for their patronage and service to our Country.

First and most importantly we are asking for letters of thanks.

A soldier in Iraq can't see your ribbon,
Or the flag at your front door.
But a letter they hold in their hands,
To them means so much more. This is about SUPPORT, not just STUFF!
A LETTER, from you, your children, the kids at church or school, is THE BEST THING to send.

We will also be collecting the following items to make care packages: Anything you can drop by will be greatly appreciated..

Calling cards
Gatorade PacketsAnti-bacterial Wipes, Hand/Foot warmers, Nail Clippers, Tweezers, Foot Powder, Deodorant, Sunscreen, First Aid Kit, Medicated Lip Balm w/SPF 15, Dental Travel Kit (includes Toothbrush, Toothpaste and Floss or mouth wash) Shampoo, Comb, Razors, Shaving Gel, Hand Sanitizer, Cotton swabs, tissues, toilet paper, and an assortment of gumNutri-Grain Bars, Fruit Snacks, Salmon Jerky, Yogurt Raisins, Marathon Protein Bars (Snickers), One A Day Active Multivitamin, Propel Vitamin Enhanced powder packets, A variety of Organic Clif Energy bars, Any type of magazines or books (Maximum Fitness Magazine, People magazine, ect)Current DVD'sCurrent music CD, Current bestselling novel, Movie butter popcorn, Combos, pistachio nuts, cookies, Candies (Nerds, Spree, Laffy Taffy, Hot Tamales, Chocolate Raisins (chocolate only during the winter months)

Beanie Babies!

No kidding..Send some in every package to ALL units as they are really easy for the Soldiers to carry with them and give to the local kids who love them. These are better then small plastic toys which will break easily and are not as easy to carry in a pack.

If each of us were to just write one letter and pick up one of these items, we would have enough items to send over 300 gift boxes.   Red Agency will be covering all the postage costs as part of this wonderful program.

Please help us reach our goals, we can't do it without your help..

Thank you, The Red Family
